With the recent announcement of the game's console launch, it is highly likely that Facepunch Studios would also roll out the crossplay feature through an update or alongside the console's launch.

The game is currently on PC and the video suggests that it is only needed if the game has a crossplay feature. Rust Console Edition will release on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. At the 8:30 mark, the video shows the player list and the symbols indicating the kind of gaming platform the player is using. The said footage was shared on YouTube by Fx, apparently showing the console experience from the game's beta.

The game hasn’t had much in terms of recent updates on its production, with Madmind having been focused on the recently-released Succubus.

Meanwhile, Techland’s upcoming Dying Light 2 is currently in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC, with a 2021 release.Īmidst the holiday crush, Madmind Studio released a new trailer during their MADNIGHT 2021 showcase earlier this month for their upcoming psychological horror title, Paranoid. Rust is currently on Steam, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions launching on May 18th. While the event is currently only on PC, it will be making its way to the console version of Dying Light in mid May to coincide with Rust‘s console release.ĭying Light is available now on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. You’ll also be able to obtain this C4 variant from outposts in the game, but you’ll have to liberate them first.
The event also has new community goals, which allow players to obtain blueprints for gold variants of the weapons pack, as well as the ability to build Elemental C4.
